Bright & Colorful: SOOC

I've really been slacking on using my camera in manual mode when trying to capture the kids.  It's just too hard sometimes....so I get these "Auto" shots to work with.  Super Cute though.  Can't wait to edit it with Jill & Ashley!

WOW!  I am very proud of myself today.  I'll admit it's not the best this photo can be, but I did venture for the very first time into Adode Camera RAW.  Thank you, Ashley, for giving me the courage. 
I can tell you very little of what I did, except that I did a custom white balance off of Samantha's teeth!  hehe....then I played around with all the knobs and gizzmos and this is the end result:

I'd say it's an improvement over the SOOC:,

I wanted this shot to focus more on the moment and less on the cuteness of the Packer gear.

My edit was Real Simple:

I cropped it & used Pioneer Woman's Heartland.

Good Night: SOOC

SOOC (Straight out of the Camera)

This shot was obviously not taken by me...but I HAD to use it for the "Good Night" Propmt.  On Sunday, my car would not start, so we had to wait until my husband got home from work to go to church.  (Yes, the kids wore their Packer gear to church this week)  At any rate, they both fell asleep in my arms, and as soon as Daddy walked in the door, I made him grab the camera!
